PR and Communications

Announcing Europe’s Biggest SaaS Fund

Led on announcing Notion Capital’s fund III dedicated to Enterprise SOftware. This involved Developing Messaging and launch strategy, managing stakeholders and briefing the founders ahead of interviews with the media, All with an extremely tight deadline. This work resulted in thousands of social shares, DEVELOPING relationships with key journalists and articles in top business and technology titles including Reuters, The Financial Times and TechCrunch.

Unearthing ideas at AVG’s Skunkworks

Based in Amsterdam, AVG’s Innovation Lab WAS aT THE heart of radical thinking, Deep RESEARCH and rapid prototyping. In 2016 I helpED the team bring clarity TO communicationS around THE concepts they developed, INCLUDING The world’s first Smart RouteR and The ‘DO Not SNAP’ Badge designed to protect peoplE’s online identities.

Ahead of the INTRODUCTION OF PSD2 in EUROPE, UK Fintech GoCARDLESS WANTED TO own the conversation around Digital Transformation of Finance … without boring people to death.

We did this by CREATing openbankinghub.com, A publication exploring the future of finance. I helped develop the concept, conducted interviews with EXPERTS AT FINTECHs, Banks and Financial Institutions and commissioned articles from experts.

The Hub quickly became a top source of news around PSD2 receiving a lot of traffic from organic search and social while helping shape the conversation around Digital finance.

Retail Services Index

BookingBug (NoW JRNI) The leading provider of retail booking software wanted to Raise its profile and highlight the importance of instore appointments to large retail Chains.

To DO SO WE created the RETAIL SERVICES INDEX, A REPORT THAT ranked THE TOP 20 stores in the UK on customer experience. This generated multiple leads including interest from APple. The launch was supported by PR that generated 30+ articles in the retail and national presS. We repeated this approach yearly and went on to produce a similar report for the US BANKING SECTOR which helped start conversations with enterprise leads.

Solving India’s Personal Power Problem

As part of my role heading up communications for BuffaloGrid, I travelled across Rural India with a small film crew to produce a film abnd photography showcasing the benefits solar powered phone charging was having in offgrid communities across India.

Warped Minds on Solar Sound System

Produced a 10 episode podcast for Solar Sound System, a global collective of Eco punks. The show was broadcast on their solar powered internet radio station. For Warped Minds, I interviewed Alternative musicians, artists and writers about their favourite music ‘Desert Island Discs’style. Following this I was invited to Paris to DJ at one of the collective’s events which I helped promote. you can read more about this in The Financial Times

BuffaloGrid x WhatsApp: Fighting Fake News

Led on a Forming a Partnership between a UK Startup and THE world's most popular messaging application to Tackle Fake News Across Rural India. This was a project I took From conception to realisation. Read More at The DRUM and VENTURE BEAT.

BUILT A RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE UK”S FIRST ELECTRIC SKATE SHOP AND the UK office of California’s DOCKLESS SCOOTER STARTUP, BIRD, RESULTING IN commercial work AND AN APPEARANCE in the FINANCIAL TIMES.
